Outside of Network Issue

I recently moved and ever since I've had issues connecting to my subsonic server outside of my home network. If I'm on the same network it works fine but if I'm not I can't access my server, either through the server address or the direct IP/port address. I've confirmed port 80 is forwarded (both UDP and TCP). I'm going on a trip next weekend that I'd really like figure it out by but I'm running out of ideas. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Most ISP's block servers on 80..use the default port 4040 (was changed a few versions back, iirc) and follow the Tutorial to open 4040 for your router: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4867

ok, thank you. I just installed the newest version (4.8), but it still says "Successfully forwarding port 80" in the Settings/Network tab. How can I change what port Subsonic uses? Thanks.

In Windoze, use the Console in your system tray. SS may report a successful port open, but that is from INSIDE your LAN...use canyouseeme.org to test a port from WAN.

thanks so much for your help, I've got it working fully now! It appears it was an issue of the ISP blocking the port.
