Hi,

I have been looking and working on getting this to work, on and off for about a month, and have decided that I cannot do it on my own and need help :( .. I maintain a website for my clans counterstrike server, and i was using and POS mp3 music player to play songs on our web page.

Then it dawned on me why don't i just use my own server that i have been using to listen to music for the past year and a half.

(fyi i love subsonic and have gotten many of my coworkers to switch to it, your interface it amazing :D )

Anyways the problem I am having is that the play list that are created in subsonic are only able to work from my server or computers on my network. We it creates play list it creates them to look for an ip address (ie 192.168.15.xx) and not my domain name (subsonic.homer2k.com). Changing this doesn't resolve the problem. If anyone can give a suggestion on how I could get this to work it would be greatly appreciated because I am going mad just thinking about it. :D.

Thanks

I'm not sure you'll be able to simply embed the flash player anyways because Subsonic will want your username/password credentials to access the mp3 and album art files that are loaded within the flash player playlist file.

Thanks for the reply.

Could I solve this my just creating a dummy account with restricted access?
