Thumper and Submariner, Subsonic running on a Synology NAS

Hi all,

I've installed and configured Subsonic on a Synology NAS. Everything is working and running. At the moment i am using Minisub (Chrome app). I am trying to use Submariner or Thumper. But the problem is Thumper can't even connect to the server (Offline all the time). Submariner is able to connect but not able to play any music.
Additional Information: There is no transcoder installed at the moment. I've already read somewhere that both Application use the Quicktime API and therefore could only play files which could be played in Quicktime. I've also read on the homepages of the players, that SSL is not really supported.

Does anyone have knowledge how to set everything up so one is able to use Thumper or Submariner, running subsonic on a Synology NAS? Would be very interessted in such a setup.
