subsonic.org redirects to wrong internal LAN address

Hi,

Having the xxxxx.subsonic.org address to connect to my server is great and works fine from outside my LAN.
Inside the LAN however this does not work, and redirects to 10.0.3.1:4040

My server is on a 192.168.0.xxx:4040 address, and if I use this address all is fine.
I can also use my known external address, from inside my LAN, this works also.
So it seems to be something to do with the xxxxx.subsonic.org redirection.
It is the same from any computer on my network, including android clients (Dsub).

I see some people have had similar problems, but I cannot find a solution on the forum. I am also fairly sure that it used to work, sometime ago.
Cheers,
Paul.

Sounds like the router is returning the improper addy, likely from cache. Try to locate a DNS 'proxy/relay/masq' setting and clear cache/disable to see if this resolves, or you can also change the DNS servers on the router/clients to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 (or better still use OpenDNS servers) to override the router cache.

Is the 10.0.3.1 address the computer you are using to access Subsonic, but SS is running on another computer? If that's the case, then there's no "true fix", as it's somehow an issue with the DNS resolver on the SS end.

The only workaround I have found (so far) is to sign up for a DynDNS (or similar) address and use that as your URL instead of *.subsonic.org.
