Does setting up a webpage/url allow me to download content from my library directly to another remote machine? Or is it only for streaming? I am kind of confused. Thanks!

Additionally, is there any way to use Subsonic to actually download the files to another PC via the internet and the url/site?

When a user with 'download' rights logs into your installation of Subsonic, they should see a 'D' button next to the Play [>], and Add [+] buttons, which should initiate a download (zip file). To give a user download rights, log in as admin, then check the box under Settings -> Users -> 'User is allowed to download files'. Once the file has downloaded, the User will need to extract the file.
