SSL/m4a Problem

Postby Phisto » Thu Aug 01, 2013 8:02 pm

Hey there,
I´m running a Subsonic 4.8 installation (I used the installer/Premium) on my old macbook (2,16 c2d, 2Gb Ram, OS X 10.6.8).
so far everything just worked (quite) perfect ... but now I was enabling SSL for acces via. https over the internet ...

at first everything worked perfekt, but what didn´t worked, was to listen to any of my albums in .m4a format, the flash-browserplugin just goes berzerk and firefox crashes (tested on Win7 and OS X 10.6 & 10.8 newest ff version).
I´ve never changed anything on the transcode settings, thou, at the same time i enabled SSL, i changed the max. Ram settings for Subsonic ...

i tried to reverse the max. Ram settings but that doesent seem to help ... mp4/avi/mp3 streaming worked just fine over https ... the only thing i could do was to disable SSL and everything worked normaly again ...

so ... any suggestions ?

kind regards
Phisto

ps. I love Subsonic :D
pps. pls excuse my poor English

I use Chrome for Subsonic.

I'd suggest having someone test from outside your network to see if they get the same result.

If you send me a PM with a guest logon I'll be happy to see if I have the same problem getting your m4a's to play back.
