Deployed 4.8 war file but version says 4.7

Postby Windependence » Tue Aug 13, 2013 5:49 pm

Hello, I am running FreeBSD 9.0 RELEASE and had Subsonic running 4.6, then 4.7 and 4.8 was running before the server crashed and corrupted my database. I deleted the database and it rebuilt fine but now says "Note! A new version is available. Download Subsonic 4.8 here." at the top of my screen. About says this: 4.7 (build 3105) – September 11, 2012 but I downloaded and deployed the 4.8 war file through Tomcat Manager, and I have confirmed the war file is the one I downloaded yet the version still says 4.7 and the war file is dated April 17,2013.

4.7 is working just fine but I am wondering what I did wrong since 4.8 was running on the machine before. Any ideas? Do I have to do something other than deploy the war file to upgrade?

Thanks,

-Tim

P.S. I am a donating member and have a license for Subsonic.

Never mind I think I figured it out.

I forgot to delete the other folders:

Stop Tomcat if it's running.
Remove these files and directories if they exist:
TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/subsonic.war
TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/subsonic
TOMCAT_HOME/work
