Hello all. I just purchased the premium version of SS. I am loving it so far.

One issue I have noticed in my testing, both in the standard and premium version, is the number of 'Random albums' shown on the home page is 4. By default it is supposed to show '15 albums per page'. I have tried every setting and I still only see 4 albums. They tend to be the same 4 albums too, not random. This same behavior happens on the 'Recently added albums' screen, and I presume the other screens as well, such as 'Starred', 'Top Rated', and 'Most played'.

I messed with the demo of SS, located here, and the demo shows more than 4 items in each section. Is this a bug in 4.8 that will get addressed, or am I supposed to change the settings somewhere else besides the drop-down box that lists '10 albums per page', '15 albums per page', and such?

How many albums does SS think you have? Check via statistics in the left frame.

Any other thoughts on why my interface is still only showing 4 albums?

Just checking to see if anyone has any other ideas for me to try. I still am only seeing 4 albums, regardless of what I change the display number to.

I cant help much as I am running the Madsonic branch now but what version are you currently on?

Hey there. I am running '4.8 (build 3434) – April 17, 2013.'

You might want to give the new beta a try. Also, if you are using OpenJDK you might want to try using Oracle's Java

Thanks for the reply. I will do a search for the new beta and decide if I want to try it, unless you can provide a link. This issue is not prohibiting any operation of SubSonic, I just don't like knowing something is not working correctly.

As for the Java, I am running my SS server on a Windows 8.1 Pro platform, although I had the same issue when I was running it on a Windows 8 Pro platform.
