Hi
Quick question - is there a way of disabling the web player for a guest user so that, in effect, guest users can only browse the online catalogue? I know how to deselect the option that allows the user to play files but this does not work in the Madsonic/MusicCabinet fork I am using (I have also posted this question in the Madsonic forum). I'm hoping that someone will be possibly able to show me how to cripple the player by deleting/modifying/renaming some of the files/code in the subsonic directory?

So which is it? those 2 forks are very different so you are using only one or the other or have dual services running.
This help thread is for Subsonic (vanilla) so post in the correct forum/sub forum if using a mod.
Unticking "allow user to play files" works fine for me in both SS 4.8 and Madsonic 5.0.3600.beta5
