RAID failure -- playlists gone?

Greetings, all:

The RAID6 array, on which I store my music, had a two-drive failure last weekend, so I took the array offline, until I could get replacement drives. Turned out to be the controller, but anyway...

I managed to get one of the drives rebuilt last night--three out of four are up--so I was going to test Subsonic (latest version) this morning. While all of the music plays fine--none of the file paths were changed in the process, short of not being available for a better part of a week--all of my playlists are empty. I had just gotten the major ones rebuilt after the drive on which Subsonic is housed crashed a few months ago, as even though I managed to back up the entire /var/subsonic folder, I was unable to recover the playlists, so I am frustrated, to say the least. I am recalling fondly when playlists were just saved as m3us.

Anyway, is there any way to recover the playlists without having to go and rebuild them manually again? Can they be exported and reimported, as a backup? What should I be backing up on the Subsonic side to be able to recover from future failures?

Thanks!

If you didn't export them before the failure, then you will need to rebuild them manually. Subsonic only backs up the ones that are exported (well, technically, YOU backup the ones that are exported).

It's something I had to learn the hard way also, and it took me a few 0-song playlists to realize this too...
