Change cover art not loading anything

Then I click "Change" under an album's artwork and the interface for the Google image search comes up, no potential replacement images load. Even if I manually click "Google Image Search." Just a blank area under the search stuff.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Subsonic, though I did restore my db folder and subsonic.properties file as I have several years of play history and many users in there.

Any ideas? :?:

I'm in the same boat. I'm running Subsonic 4.8 on Ubuntu 12.04 (just switched from Windows and am NEVER going back). I initially had subsonic running as root, but I changed that so it's running as my regular user account. I've tried temporarily switching back to running as root, and the problem persists.

I made sure that /var/subsonic has my user account as the owner.

Clicking change underneath an album's art brings me to the "Change Cover Art" page, but no suggestions are auto-loaded...and the "Google image search" does nothing at all. If I manually specify a url for the cover art, it works.

I assume this is permission related, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Heh....I'm an idiot. Hopefully this will help someone else.

It was Advertisement/Tracking blocker software (I use AdBlock Plus, Disconnect, and Ghostery) that was preventing the Google image search API from running.

Once I whitelisted my Subsonic page in all of them, it worked fine.
