QNAP Shares & Permissions Issues Solved
I just resolved the permissions issue experienced between Subsonic running on Windows and the media mount running as a QNAP (NAS) share via mapped network drive.
I'm posting the resolution in case anyone else has experienced trouble saving cover art or other "access is denied" issues.
From QNAP administration find "Access Right Management" and "Share Folders". Next to the folder containing your media you'll need to select the "Microsoft Networking Host Access Control" icon. This will pop open a screen in which you must enter at a minimum the IP address of the machine running your Subsonic server. You might just want to enable your entire home network.
Hope this helps someone!
