[MAC 10.9] Subsonic not opening after install of v4.8

Troubleshooting Steps: Tried installing different version (4.9 beta, 4.6, 4.7 etc) - same issue, tried giving chmod -x to Applications/Subsonic.app/Content/ - restarted and still no execution, opening it several times results in the following error:
Playback Application and version: OSX 10.9 Mavericks
Subsonic Version: Subsonic v4.8
Hardware Platform: Mac
Problem Filename: Subsonic.app
