Subsonic Forum

Using the latest beta, I have noticed subsonic stops responding after a number of hours, usually the next day.

I reboot the PC, and it is up again. I am using the windows service option of SS.

If there is something I can do to help track down this problem, please let me know.

When that happens, can you please check if the subsonic.exe process is running or not.

If it's not running, you can look for files called hs_err_pidxxxx.log in c:\program files\Subsonic. If there are any (with timestamps that match), then the Java VM has crashed. The Java VM version is logged in these files, please make a note of it. Upgrading to the latest Java version (Java 6 update 7) might fix the problem.

I will update Java and then monitor for possible hangs after that.
