Are you attempting this on the Server? This will only work when you are logged onto the host machine.
It doesn't make any sense that the server can generate the error msg. that the license is expired, but that it is not running. Is the associated service running on the host machine? What OS are you running? Which version of Subsonic d you have installed.
If in fact Subsonic is not running on the host machine, then you'll have to reinstall it. The license key should still be valid once you get Subsonic running properly.
When you can't access Subsonic for whatever reason, the first step is to log onto the host machine and attempt to access it from the browser on the local machine. If that doesn't work then check to see if the Subsonic service is running. Try a manual start if the service has stopped. If that doesn't work then you most likely will find it easiest to just do a re-install.
