I am running Vista so i have no tray icon.

I edited the subsonic.exe.vmoptions to read
-Xmx64m
-Dsubsonic.port=5980
-Dsubsonic.contextPath=/
And forwarded my router port 5980 to my Pc.
But I can not connect to it thru the internet.
I can however through http://localhost:5980

Can anyone help me access this over the web?

Verify that you don't have a firewall blocking these requests. If you have another computer on your network try accessing port 5980 on your subsonic machine from it.

Do a "netstat -an|findstr 5980" in a command prompt, verify that it says "0.0.0.0:5980 0.0.0.0 LISTENING" and not something else (like "127.0.0.1:5980 ...")
