After install, the listing showed the right amount of everything, which was about 120 albums; after ripping more albums, which would have brought the total to 145 albums, Subsonic stopped counting, because now the count is:

Also, and this might be a clue, 'Random' and 'Newest' and 'Highest rated' is not functional anymore.

What's going on?

UPDATE:
XP SP3 - P4 2.8Mhz - 1Gb RAM
Music lib is on NAS (NASLite 2) hardwired to the router

Same thing

Hi,

I just installed SubSonic and I have exactly the same problem.
I am using version 3.4 on Vista Ultimate SP1.

SubSonic didn't start to count since the beginning.
The Random & Newest are not working as well :(

By the way I would like to congratulate the developer(s) because he did a very good job

The statistics is updated when the search index is updated, by default every night at 3:00.

What a beautiful piece of software it is!

(Maybe it is time to publish a comprehensive, concise manual to avoid all these naive, unnecessary questions; I wouldn't mind to help :-)
