Can't Connect

Postby gateets » Thu Dec 26, 2013 11:10 pm

Can't connect to my subsonic server ( http://gateets.subsonic.org ) but I can connect to the demo server. I have checked, and re-checked, port forwarding, and have confirmed that port 8080 is open. If I try to open Subsonic in the browser I get Error 503. I managed to get to the login page via a link in another poster's message, but couldn't login or reset my password (also, 'admin/admin' username/password combo wouldn't work). I have tried accessing page by typing in IP:port (both public and private). I have just done a clean install of Windows 7, new Subsonic installation, and my Network Gateway was just replaced. Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue with my personal server as well. I can access it locally on the server, but from any other machine it's not visible.

New Windows installations with failed LAN/WAN connections is usually due to firewalls. Also, always test your WAN accessibility using canyouseeme.org, as WAN access will only work if you pass that port test.

Disabled both firewalls (Windows & Comodo) and checked with canyouseeme.org (port 8080 is open); still not working

Your old url is failing on port 8088, but since you say it's a new install, I assume you've redone the port and forwarding. Do you get nothing on the server at 127.0.0.1:8080?

Yes, I reconfigured the router port forwarding; no, that IP doesn't work
