Streaming issue and player question.

So I'll start with my stats.

Windows 8 Pr 64bit
AMD Phenom II x6 1100T Processor 3.30 GHZ
8GB Ram
Conenction: 50Dwn/10up

With that being said I seem to be having an issue when my friends stream movies from me. What is happening to some of them is that the movie will play 1/2 - 3/4 the way through and then go to buffering. They can refresh the page and use the Time drop down to get close to where they were at but the fact is that it is still stalling. It doesnt matter if they are the only one streaming or if there are 6 people it randomly happens. I had them try lowering the bitrate but it still happens. They are using the webplayer

I was getting errors in the SS log but unfortunately I restarted the app and the log cleared so I can paste next time it happens. so my question would be.. what could be causing it, Would running UBUNTU on this machine be any better? and would changing the player be any better?
