../subsonic/db/subsonic.log is currently 188MB and growing every minute. Do I need this file? Can I configure SS to cap out at a specific filesize or can I schedule a system event to delete the file once a week?

I'm pretty sure that running the clean up process from the admin tab should clear that. At least I have noticed that the size of my backups increases constantly every day, and running that periodically cuts it back down to a sane size.

Thank you very much for the advice. This reduced the log file to 1KB. I'll just do this every now and then when the log starts getting unruly.

For others with this issue here's exactly what I did:

    Log on as admin
    Click Settings
On the "Media folders" tab click Clean-up database

Well, I cleared my log file less than 12 hours ago and it's already up to 38MB. Other than the 3am media discover event there was absolutely no activity on the server.

Is this log necessary for anything other than troubleshooting? I'm tempted to schedule a batch file to delete it daily.
