Frames too small to read text

I use my monitors in portrait mode (1080x1920) so all the frames have scrollbars. This is especially annoying for the left hand side where the albums are listed as I cannot read most of the albums. It doesn't help that I have 100k+ songs.

Is it possible to give specific frames more room?
Creating a custom theme is doable but I'm not familiar with the subsonic codebase.

In the settings, there should be an option to have the frames resizeable, which will let you resize at least the right and bottom frames.

If you are familiar with css, then you should be able to make your own theme. I believe this is how the themes are done - I'm not familiar with css, so I can't be sure!

Thanks gurutech. I'm looking for the "frames resizeable" option, but I can't seem to find it... I'm using 4.8 stable.

I honestly don't remember ever seeing any resizable option either, but just now trying it the frames appear to be resizable for me. They don't give any indication that they are, but they are.

It's under Settings / Personal. Scroll down a bit and it should be there. It could be a Madsonic feature if you don't see it.

Definitely not any options to resize in 4.9 stable under settings > personal

You can, in Firefox at least, right click any frame and select open in new window. Then you can expand just that frame and still use it to control the rest of the interface.

Thanks for this. Works well as a workaround for now. I'll have to take some time to try to modify the file (mentioned above) myself...

I've been a Madsonic user for a long time now. It does have options for resizable player and left frame. There are also options to disable the custom scrollbars. I still like it a lot, but I've come to appreciate the simplicity of Subsonic.
