Android app issue

Whenever I start playing a file on my phone, it will show it is downloading, then after a few seconds it will start playing, then you can see it continuing to download while it's playing, but then there is a slight pause which interrupts the sound, and then continues. This happens whenever choosing to Play Now for any track. I tried different buffer settings but the same thing happens. It does not appear to happen when playing the same song again or if the song is waiting in a queue to be played. Why is this happening?

Same issues with Ultra. I guess this is just part of the buffering process.

This is the response I received fro the developer of Ultrasonic:

"The native Android media player API does not "stream" when reading from a file. So if the track starts playing when it is 8% downloaded the song will play until it hits the location in the song that was the 8% mark, even if the song is completely downloaded, it will stop and then resume playback."

I run DSub and never run into that but I did with the default subsonic android application. Try DSub. IMHO it's the best subsonic application for android
