Subsonic Forum

I have noticed that if you turn off transcoding for a player and then play a track in AAC format (.m4a), the whole song will buffer before the track plays (this behaviour can be found in the iSub app too.). It does not let you press play until the whole track has loaded (both web and app).

Is there a way to make subsonic play the song while it is buffering?
