Hi,

I'm hoping somebody can help me, I have just installed musiccabinet following the instructions on the musiccabinet website but now can't login, I have tried my usual login details and the default, neither work.

Any ideas please?

P.S. my server is running on windows.

I am having the same issue as well. I stopped my existing subsonic service, ran the installer for windows and then fired it back up. I get a login screen but none of my credentials work and I can no longer connect to the server from my mobile device. This has been posted for a month now. It would be nice if anyone with any ideas could lend a hand to us newbs here.

EDIT:

I had to do a fresh install to get admin/admin to work as credentials to get into the initial installation. Restoring my c:\subsonic\db folder and my subsonic properties file afterwords recreated the issue of not being able to authenticate so I re-restored the default db directory and the problem went away.

I am having the same issue. I installed musiccabinet as well and now I can't login. I reinstalled Subsonic and can now login but it won't see my music folder and all my play list are gone. Looks like I will have to go the fresh install route and that really sucks. Has anyone figured this out? It sure would have been nice to seen this response before I installed the add on.

I'm having this issue, is there a resolution?

Windows 8.1 using different versions of Subsonic from 4.7 through to beta 5
