Android app playing video

It appears that the Android app does not handle video. Is this correct? When using the Subsonic web interface I can play videos with no problems. However when I use the Android application no video titles show up. Am I doing something wrong or is the Android application not capable of video?

all depends on your version of android. <4.3 seeks flash player. > 4.4 + plug + dolphin + flash player

Actually the real problem is that no video file names show up when I select my video directory from the Subsonic Android application. They do appear when I use the web page interface. Music files show up just fine.
