Subsonic not finding new additions
Posted: Thu Feb 13, 2014 12:15 pmThis is getting very frustrating. Subsonic has started to not display any new albums added to my music media folder. Always worked fine in the past but now I constantly have to go through the following procedure (as recommended by another subsonic forum user): Un-check the media folders, Save, rescan, clean db, rescan, recheck folders, and then rescan.
Whilst this works ok, I have to re-do it every time I add anything new. I'm using Windows 7 and my media is on an external HD. Pretty standard setup really and I haven't had problems in the past. I know others have had this problem but no-one seems to have come up with a cast-iron reason for it or a sure-fire, permanent solution. I also use Bubble upnp which isn't as feature rich but at least it works. I may have to switch permanently if this isn't fixed.
