Hi,

since last friday, i have some CPU charges up to 100%. using htop, i see subsonic uses 10% of memory, and CPU charge exploses when i start subsonic. When i add new music too, etc.
i am using musiccabinet too.

if that goes on, i will be obliges to stop subsonic, because i use websites too. anybody has that issue? something i can do? restart postgres?

You might want to see if you get the same issue with Subsonic or Madsonic. Regardless, the developer of MusicCabinet is gone, so if there is a issue with it it isn't going to resolved in that particular fork.

Had the same issue here.. Server wasnt reachable also when overloading. Switching to tomcat 6 en Oracle Java 7 solved the problem here

@daneren2005: how to uninstall musiccabinet ? do i have to reinstall all subsonic? is it possible to start another instance of subsonic or madsonic to compare charges?

@joost: java 7 ok, but i don't think i have tomcat installed. is it compatible with an existing apache configuration? don't want to do bad thinks...

I think you can probably just place subsonic back over MusicCabinet. I know MusicCabinet uses a differen db, and just pulls the starting info from the Subsonic db, so you might be able to just reinstall Subsonic over it and it will just pick up the old db just fine. If it does work though, you will loose everything you have done in MusicCabinet since installing it.
