Subsonic Forum

I am not sure why this is happening because I have had subsonic working for over a year now but now my iPhone says it can't connect to the server. When I try to open subsonic I get the HTTP 503 error. It's trying to access http://localhost:4040/ but won't connect for some reason. My server updated earlier in the day it started messing up. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening now?

Most likely a database crash resulting from an improper shutdown/reboot.

Re initialize Subsonic from a back up of the C:\Subsonic directory that you probably didn't make.

You can goto viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10172 or just open up a windows explorer and go to c drive. You will see a folder in the root called subsonic, just turn off subsonic and delete it. That will clear the database and you should be able to connect again, but you will lose all settings and have to set it up again. That's why it's a good idea to have the folder back itself up in case it happens again.
