NAS Subsonic and Media Monkey

Hi I'm new to this foum and new to Subsonic....
So I have a Zyxel NAS which I use for music and maintain and play through Mediamonkey. I have tried to set up with Subsonic and believe I have followed all the instruction I could find.
1) I created a user "DaveMediamonkey" on the NAS with full access rights.
2) I created the same user with same password in Subsonic ad in windows 8.1
3) I went to the Subsonic service and set it to "This Account" and stipulated DaveMediamonkey (which it accepts and lists as ".\DaveMediamonkey".
4) I stopped and restarted the service.
However I still cannot get Subsonic to access the shared folder.
My NAS maps it as "public (192.168.1.64) (Z:)
Actual music is at "Z:\2013-03-19_11-00-43\Extvolume1\MQ"
I have tried "\\192.168.1.64\public" and "\\192.168.1.64\public\2013-03-19_11-00-43\Extvolume1\MQ" and every variant in between. I've also tried replacing \\192.168.1.64" with "Z:"
however I still can't get Subsonic to see music folder"
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
