Subsonic takes over my Razr MAxx bluetooth! Can you help?

HI,
I have the latest version of subsonic on my android Razr Maxx, running android 4.1.2. It seems to be working normally (although i wish I had the option to change the appearance back to 'wheat' or light on dark rather than only dark background with light text..) The problem is that I use a motorola bluetooth headphone set and use the headset buttons to go forward and backwards in my song track list. The problem I have is that when I press the button for 'phone call' which pulls up the automatic google now search 'voice', subsonic also automatically launches (even if it is not running) and starts playing a song. The song only plays while google search voice is loading, and then it fades out when the computer voice asks me to enter a command, then while it waits for my input the subsonic music comes back in again. Then when I instruct the google to make a call, it loads my dialer (while loading music continues to play in background) then then the phone speaker starts taking over into my headphones then the subsonic stream is paused. Then when phone call ends, the subsonic stream starts back up again. Often I'm listening to Iheart radio or something, I need to take a call, I push the call button, now I have subsonic and iheart radio playing through each other! What a pain to always have to stop the subsonic service manually.

Is there a way someone can look into this bug? Is there a way to use the bluetooth 'phone' button without activating subsonic? THis did not happen on the older versions of subsonic, only the new version.

Also, on the old version, to launch subsonic automatically and play the next track I just had to hit the 'forward track' button on my bluetooth headphones. Now that doesn't work either. now I have to manually launch the subsonic app, then load a fresh playlist, then use the phone to start the first track, then I can use the bluetooth buttons to control it after that.

I can't seem to get any of the bluetooth buttons to pause or stop the music which would be nice as well!

My headphones are Motorola ROKR S300

Thanks for any help anyone can give! I guess i can try to go back to an old version of subsonic for android which would give me choices for the screen interface colors as well.. Is there an archive site to download the old versions yet?
