Settings tab missing/can not stream

Hello,

I am somewhat of a novice at this sort of thing so please forgive me on the lack of details. My Subsonic has stopped streaming and I am not all together sure why. The failure happened before I upgraded, the reason I did upgrade really. I can access subsonic from the web and can see all of the music, I can also see everything from my android app and even generate a random playlist though it wont play. However I do not have a setting tab and I am unable to create random playlist from the more tab of the browser as i have been able to in the past. I am not running as root and I am fairly certain that this is setup since it worked in the past, I even went through the steps again to make sure. Some of the things I noticed when I upgraded was that I could not do so from apt-get I had to download the package directly from the website. No obvious errors that I can find in subsonic_sh.log or subsonic.log.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04.4
Java version 6 openjdk amd64
updated to subsonic 4.9 not sure of the previous version

Let me know what logs would be handy and I will do what I can to provide them.
