Cannot download a song - SS 4.9 Mac

Just upgraded to SS 4.9 in Mac. I cannot download a single song. It gives me a file "download.view" which I can't open. Any fix?

i tested this further and found out that in SS 4.9, download is working fine if i use Chrome. but if i use Safari, it would give me a .view format of the song. when i tried to revert back to previous versions like 4.6, both browsers have no issue at all.

i haven't gotten any recommended fix on this yet so i now currently use version 4.8 - which works so much better. download is a swift either Safari or Chrome. and even the download button at the left side of each song is now showing up (download button does not show in 4.9 for me).
