Cover art exists, but does not display

I have an issue with just a couple of albums where the cover art is present as cover.jpg in the album folder, is recognized by subsonic, but is not visible while viewing the library. The issue is better understood by viewing this screenshot:

In the screenshot you can see that when you click on the blank album art, it is viewable in the preview.

Since this only happens on a couple of albums out of hundreds, could the issue be related to the files and not subsonic? I have checked file and share permissions on the albums in question as well as making sure they are not read-only. I have tried different images for the cover, restarted subsonic and computer, cleaned library and rescanned.

Same problem here. Any solution to this?

Maybe its a browser cache problem, try to clean up cache and from the context menu 'reload/refresh frame'.
