Can't access SS behind home router,URL resolves to 127.0.0.1

Hi,

I have been using Subsonic for the past year, since Sept 2013. Just the past week any requests to access the music service behind the home network resolves the IP address to 127.0.0.1. All devices are unable to connect to the correct PC unless I manually enter in my ISP given IP address. I have tested this on my Samsung S4, Nexus 7, and other desktop PC running Windows. I have made no changes to any settings recently so am assuming some software was updated recently or maybe router firmware (I use Verizon FIOS). Absolutely no problem accessing outside my home network.

Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing this? What other system info can I provide to help with troubleshooting.

Thanks in advance.

If you are using your *.subsonic.org address, there's a known issue with how the DNS is being translated. Not sure if Sindre is looking into a fix or not, but the "workaround" is to use another DDNS service, such as DynDNS or No-IP.com (among others).

Does Sindre look at these posts?

It stopped for a little while, and back again with all kinds of weird behavior. I was just trying to access my router from different devices (S4, Nexus 7) and playlists were being launched from the app using RC when the display indicated no connection. I am currently only able to access my server inside the routers network using my IP address, not *.subsonic.org.

Additionally, I have been using OpenDNS for years. Does that hurt or helpt his situation?

Thanks
