Sindre,
First, thanks for a great application. I really like Subsonic.

I've been using it off and on, in between problems.

My latest problem is the error message mentioned in the Subject line.
Exception java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
Message Java heap space
Java version Sun Microsystems Inc. 1.6.0_11
Operating system Windows XP 5.1
Server jetty-6.1.x
Memory Used 63 of 63 MB
Stack trace java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

I searched the Forum and it seems like I need to increase the Memory being used by Jetty. Is that right?

My library is about 80,000 MP3 files at about 400Gb.

The problem is that I can't seem to find the details for fixing this in a Windows installation. Most of the answers are for Linux installs.

What do I need to edit to increase the memory size?
Where is that file located?

Thanks again.

I think I used to get this error when I first started using Subsonic. What I did to fix it was to change the Memory limit in the Settings tab of the Subsonic Control Panel. I set mine to 256 and everything has been fine.

I've the same problem, but I'm running on apache tomcat. I do't know where I must set the setting for a larger memory.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this?
