Help getting Subsonic operational

Hey guys!

I tried out and purchased Subsonic a few days ago... And I'm at my wit's end! I tried setting up the port forwarding, and to no avail. I tried to set up my computer to have a static IP address, and it gave me an error even though I set it up using the correct DNS addresses that Comcast assigns. Additionally, I've tried and tried to get the (yourname).subsonic.org going, but every time it says that the name has been registered, but the connection timed out - I know this is due to the port, but I can't figure out how to open it up. I've gone into my router, and tried to allow it through Windows Firewall, but I'm pretty sure I've done all that's necessary to get it open.

Can anyone help me? I'm at a complete loss, here. I've tried following step-by-step instructions, but no matter what I can't get it to work!

Can you connect locally? do you know which port your running subsonic on? Are you using http or https?
