Folders not deleting from view

I have a strange problem, can't figure it out for the life of me.
When I delete a folder via FTP/SSH, the folder doesn't delete in the browse view or sidebar of Subsonic. I've used the clean up database function and the rescan media folders function with no luck.
For testing purposes, basically all subsonic folders are open permissions running on Ubuntu Server 14.04

Any suggestions? Can't figure this out.
