player now missing from website

Postby foosratt » Thu Dec 04, 2014 2:59 pm

So I just recently was forced to get the premium version of subsonic. Prior to this change the webpage window returned from the subsonic server had a m3u player embedded in it. Now however after creating a playlist (either through selecting an album or creating a random one) there is no player at embedded in the webpage and in order to play the list it asks me to open a third party application (windows media for example). What has happen to subsonic? Was this feature removed for some reason? Or is there something that needs to be set up to continue to have an embedded music player in the website create by the subsonic server? Here are the details about my version of subsonic...

License Subsonic Premium (expires November 19, 2019)
Version 5.0 (build 4100) – September 21, 2014
Server jetty-6.1.x, java 1.7.0_45, Windows 7 (58.7 MB / 70.8 MB)

Now that I am paying for this application I would think that things should be BETTER and not worse than when it was freeware.

Hi. Go to settings -> players, and delete all the players. Restart the server and that's it. You should able to see the web player.

Thanks I did end up going to the setting page and played around with it and lo and behold the player reappeared in the webpage. Thanks for the reply.
