MyBookLive Drive

Hello: I have a WD MyBookLive drive hooked up to my PC where my music is stored and I would like to know the steps to take to get Subsonic to see the drive. The drive can function on it's own without a computer to stream music/videos, but the app for it is real basic and that is why I want to use Subsonic. I would like to also know the way I can change the transcoding from Mp3 to aac 320 if possible. Thanks for any help.
