Subsonic can't find LAME?
Posted: Thu Jan 22, 2009 10:03 pmI'm running Subsonic under tomcat, and can successfully stream .mp3 files, but encounter a problem when attempting to transcode from .mp4-->mp3. I think this is due to Subsonic not being able to use LAME; I still get the
"Notice: LAME does not seem to be installed.
Click Help button for more information."
message, even though I do have LAME installed. I have successfully transcoded the test files that came with LAME via the command line, and have access to LAME from any directory, so far as I can tell...
The subsonic log shows faad moving through its processes, but I only get one line for LAME before the conversion abruptly stops without explanation.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
