subsonic no longer works for me in chrome browser

Since yesterday, I've been unable to play music via my chrome browser. Playlists (or randomly generated playlists) no longer auto play. If I click a song in the cue nothing happens. If I click the play button, the browser tried to download a play.m3u file, but no music plays. I tried restarting my computer but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this?
Interesting to note: I can play fine in the firefox browser, using the jamstash app in the chrome browser, and using isub on my phone. Just not in the normal chrome browser application.

I had this problem recently and it turned out to be a bad chrome extension I had installed. Maybe this is your cause?

Thanks for the reply blueturtles. I disabled all my chrome extensions and still having the problem. Luckily, subsonic sounds great in Firefox. But very strange.
I'm running Chrome Version 40.0.2214.111 m on windows 8. Ok. I now just updated to Version 40.0.2214.115 m and restarted chrome. Still seeing the problem.
I upgraded to subsonic 5.2.beta1 (build 4393) yesterday (after the problem arose). But still having the issue.
No one else?

Happens to me with Chrome once a week or so. I clear ALL browser data from advanced settings and it works again.
It is frustrating and a pain in the ass. Quitting Chrome & restarting does NOT do the trick. Or rebooting.

Thanks for the tip. That did work for me. I experimented with deleting cached browser data that I cared about least first. But I had to delete everything in order to fix the problem. It was either deleting Passwords or Cookies that solved the problem. Both of those are really useful so annoying I had to delete. But now I know. Might just use FF from now on for this so I don't have to lose useful chrome cookies or passwords again.
Hoping there is a better fix for this.
