playing movies on adroid is terribly slow
Posted: Sun Feb 22, 2015 5:09 amHi im back after using madsonic for a long time, but it seems subsonic have steppt upp, it looks rely nice on beta 5.2-1. The only sade thing is it seems to have the same trouble playing movies on android, or vel subsonic dose make it better
Since it can still can use flash
but i like to use mx-player but it takes forever to start a bluray or to skipp ahead in a film. Way is this? This whas not a problem before? If i use the madsonic app in hls mode to a subsonic server it starts direct on mxplayer but sorry to say it locks upp after 10sec as on madsonic. No i dont won't to use plex iven if it handels video beter (i rely like that subsonic givs the controls to the server owner whiteout the ned of 3 part interfere)
Is it anyone how can explain way it started to take forever too start a film on android 4+<? or why it stops playing after exact 10sec if i use hls to mxplayer? (its no problems playing on apple devices) same if i use flash (it starts direkt) /regards
PS:Sindre if you can fix this you got more beer monny comming
A little uppdate since i fond 2 things that works, if i use dsub to subsonic 5.2 beta1 i can play the movise directly if i install Archos video player. The only downside is that you cant fast-forward. But you can also put dsub in hls mode and pick the defolt pictur app in android to open the film (lol i now) and then you can fast forward. Dont pick the defolt video app that dont work. /Regards
