Greetings from a new (re: neophyte) user
Posted: Sat Jan 31, 2009 10:58 pmI'm not sure, as I am no computer wizard, but I think that Subsonic is the solution that I've been looking for for several years!
1) I want to access my entire music collection from anywhere with web access: either on my machine or on one of my websites.
2) My entire music collection is in WMA Lossless.
The problem is that I have limited time as I work a zillion hours a week and my knowledge of networking et al is limited as well.
So, is there a way I could have someone tutor me in THE BASICS of setting this system up? I would pay, by the way. Or, just a tutorial would be fine.
I have a fairly powerful home PC that is always running and always on line, and has the music stored on it. I do not have a static IP now, but suppose I could get one.
