Web player stops as soon as song is loaded

Yesterday I wiped out the Music library on my OpenSUSE server. Luckily I have 4 copies, and rebuilt it.
But now, when I try to play a song using the Web Player (Chrome on Mac), the music stops as soon as the bottom progress bar shows that the song is fully loaded. The play button stays at the arrow and will not change to the two vertical bars when clicked.

I rebuilt Subsonic's library, and restarted the server, but that did not help. SubAir plays properly.

How can I fix this?
