Anyone running 5.0+ with no problems?

I went from 4.9 to 5.2.1, then back down the release list to 4.9. I can't stream anything. Running Java 8 u40. I see issues from 5.0 upward but not a lot of replies. My tablet and phone looked like it pinned and downloaded the song but nothing. File size was 0. Streaming a playlist through Winamp yielding an "error syncing to stream" error. Can anyone point me in a direction to sort this out?

Turns out my FLAC transcoding was outdated for 5.0+. I'm cruising right now.
