Music files scanned but not displayed (v5.2.1@Ubuntu 12.04)

Hi guys,

I'm running Subsonic 5.2.1 at Ubuntu 12.04 machine with Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_76-b13).
After some bad shutdown of the machine yesterday Subsonic started showing HTTP ERROR: 503 SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE. I "fixed" it by uninstalling Subsonic, deleting /var/subsonic and reinstalling Subsonic.
This meant that I had to add the music folder again which went almost fine - music folder is added and files scanned. However, I cannot access the scanned music files now. There's nothing displayed in the left-hand side frame, though counts of artists, albums, songs etc. is displayed correctly. There's nothing displayed in Random, Recently added, By decade, any of these. Also search returns nothing.

I also tried rescanning the collection, restarting subsonic, rebooting the machine, to no avail. I double-checked file permissions and it should be fine, I'm running Subsonic as the user that has ownership to the whole Music folder. Also I suppose file/directory permissions are not the issue because the files were scanned correctly and I can see the Genres listed in By genre dropdown...

Can someone help me fix this please?

So this is what I get:

Ok, so I fixed this.
After uninstalling Subsonic thoroughly using -purge option and reinstalling it started working normally.
