Hello!

I have an installation of Subsonic running on a WHS2011 machine and it had been running flawlessly for years. I don't use it much, but about 6 months ago I noticed that it stopped working. I updated to the latest version and it didn't change the problem. Then, I didn't do anything about it for 6 months until today. I've gone through various steps to try to get Subsonic running properly on my server, but something isn't playing nice.

I've searched through various forum posts and can't seem to find a solution. The one thing that always comes up for WHS2011 installations is that Subsonic cannot use port 8080, so I've always used port 8081. In my problem description below, I reference changing ports; when I did this, I changed to 4040. Neither of them worked for me.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

<-------------------------Subsonic Help Request---------------------->
Problem Description: Subsonic had been running on my WHS2011 SP1 with no problems for years. Suddenly it stopped working at a time that did not seem to coincide with any major event (update, SW install, etc.). Now, I cannot connect to subsonic server on any app or device. I also cannot access the webpage (local or remote). When attempting to connect with an app, the error displayed is:[Connection failure. Didn't understand reply. Please check the server address.]. When attempting to reach the webpage, I get:[HTTP ERROR: 503 SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE RequestURI=/ Powered by jetty://]
Troubleshooting Steps: I have confirmed that my router is setup with the appropriate port forwards for Subsonic. I have verified that Subsonic has an exception in windows firewall. I have verified all addresses, port number and login credentials in my apps, but the problem remained. I then changed the port on the subsonic server and turned off the firewall, then restarted the subsonic server. The problem remained. I then uninstalled Subsonic, restarted the server, and re installed subsonic. The problem remained, so I changed the port on the server again, and the problem remained. I then installed Subsonic on a Win7 box elsewhere on the network and it works fine, so I'm sure that this is a WHS2011 issue.

Playback Application and version: Android-Subsonic Music Streamer 4.4

Server Version: Not sure, cannot reach website
Hardware Platform: WHS2011 SP1
Java Memory Limit: 150Mb
