Shuffle function question

The shuffle function seems to work OK for me when I apply it to a playlist using the standard web player on my PC. However, I can't seem to find a way to shuffle a playlist on my android phone; am I missing something or does shuffle not exist on the android player?

On Now Playing screen you have two options...touch album art to display playback controls and on the left is a shuffle symbol for current queue. Also the 3 dot menu has shuffle as an option.

yeah, that's about the only way. hit 'play' on the playlist, then once it has changed screens, you can tap the shuffle. the only drawback is that the "current" song is never shuffled, but always becomes the first song in the new list (as in, you can shuffle everything else while listening to that song).

This can sometimes get a little tiring as it means you always have to hear that first song before the playlist actually goes the way you (randomly) want, but there we are.
