Unable to connect outside of home network

Postby hweiner67 » Sun Apr 05, 2015 1:54 am

I'm running subsonic on a VM with a LINUX mint guest.
I have it setup and working on the VM.
All the computers in my house can connect.
I have setup port forwarding and confirm that I am able to forward - canyouseeme.org gives me a message stating
"Success: I can see your service on xx.xx.xx.xx on port (5500)
Your ISP is not blocking port 5500"
When I go to Settings > Network, I see the message "Status: myserver.subsonic.org is registered, but could not connect to it. (NoHttpResponseException)"
I can connect using my android within the house, as long as the wireless connection is on.
Once I leave my house or turn off the wireless, I can't connect.

any ideas of what I can try?
Thanks!
