Missing items from subsonic
I have two nearly identical installs of Subsonic. Both installs are running on Ubuntu Linux with Apache Tomcat 6.0.18 and Java 1.6.0_10. Subsonic is 3.6 Build 806 on both.
My music collection is identical on both systems. Both systems run Ubuntu Linux. The only difference is that, on one system, the music is on an EXT3 partition and on the other system the music is on a VFAT partition.
I noticed yesterday that when using subsonic hosted on the VFAT system there were items that should have been there but were missing. I double-checked today and found that the missing items are actually present on the disk but just don't show up in subsonic.
I tried re-indexing manually and checked the subsonic.log for errors but still the missing items are missing.
Here's an example of a missing item:
/media/DATA/music/Mike Massé/
I suspect that there is some problem with the "é" because I have another folder named:
/media/DATA/music/Mike Masse/
and that works fine on both systems.
Any thoughts on how I can get the system with the VFAT partition to see ALL of the music?
Thanks,
-mg
